Acton, ME.- Robert (Bob) Roland Davis, 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Acton, ME , surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 5th, 2014. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Bob is survived by his beautiful wife Irene, of 54 years and their Weimaraner, Jimbo. Bob was born on May 9, 1939 in Rochester, NH to the late Valmore Davis and Adrienne LaFontaine. Bob was predeceased by a sister, Florence Cote, and is survived by his brother, Edward Davis and his wife Norma of Pittsfield, MA, his sister, Norma Davis of Hampton, NH and his brother, Raymond Davis and his wife Linda of Middleton, NH. Bob is survived by his son Ricky Davis and his wife Jody, daughter, Lisa Carpenter and her husband Harold, and his son, Mark Davis and his wife Debra-Jean. Bob also has 6 wonderful grandchildren, Rebecca (26), Robert (25), James (23), Cayla (23), Harold (21), and Lyndsay (21) Bob worked hard his whole life as a roofer, but played just as hard with his family and friends.
