Robert Desmarais

Rochester NH - Robert "Bob" Desmarais, 70, of Loring Drive died peacefully Monday, February 15, 2016 with his beloved wife by his side at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis.   Born December 3, 1945 in Sanford ME, he was the son of the late Raymond and Jeanette (Savoie) Desmarais, and remained a life-long resident of Rochester. Bob was employed as a mechanic and tanker driver by Eastern Propane for 37 years until his retirement in 2007. Bob enjoyed bow hunting, furniture woodworking, restoring and driving his '77 Corvette, and visiting his kids, 13 grandchildren and great-grandchild.
