Rochester-Robert J. Dube,88, of 36 Patton St died Wednesday February 6, 2013 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Born August 2, 1924 in Somersworth NH he is the son of the late Joseph and Delima (Charette) Dube. Robert has lived in Rochester for the past 57 years after moving from Somersworth. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He worked as an independent painting contractor and later worked for the Pease Air Force Base and for Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard until his retirement. He was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, member of the American legion post 7 and Catholic War veterans. He was an expert painter and furniture refinisher. He enjoyed growing Roses, walking his Doberman Pincers and spending time with his family.
