Robert "Bob, Wild, Skip" Eaton, age 62, of Wakefield, NH and formerly of Rowley, MA died unexpectedly on Thursday February 10, 2022, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 29, 1959, in Newburyport, Massachusetts, to Paul F. Eaton and Elizabeth Eaton. Bob and his wife, Anne resided in Wakefield, NH for the past twenty years. Bob had graduated from Whittier Tech in 1977, owned his own Drywall & Plastering business, and had been a Tank Tester in Shop 11 at The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for the past 14 years. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Anne (Richards) Eaton and 5 children: Robert and Chy, Tim and Neviah, Tina and Dave, Lissy (Alisa) and Scott, and JohnPaul (JP) and Hannah. He is also survived by many siblings, Step Siblings, and In Laws: Paul, David and Margaret, Tom and Wanda, Andy, Danny, Steve and Brenda Waters, Mark Richards, and Joseph Stets. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Anita-Anne Eaton, Madswick Eaton, and Magnus Eaton. He was predeceased by his beloved grandson Sebastian Wild Pelletier. He was also predeceased by his parents as well as his stepmother Janet (Smith) Eaton, his stepsister Karen Mahoney, his in-laws Earl and Veronica Richards, and his brother-in-law John Richards. Farmer Bob loved tending to his garden. He loved road trips and enjoyed the occasional game of cards. He was a professional audience member at countless concerts. A lifelong sports fan he could often be found coaching professional teams from the couch. Bob was a devoted husband, loving father, and True-Blue friend. Those who know him best would affectionately call him a "Simple Man". Bob's family is so grateful to Janice Newton and her daughters Madison, Cali, and Emery. His crew at the Shipyard, and everyone at Portsmouth Regional Hospital especially the Nurses and Doctors of the ICU and ER. Family and Friends are invited to attend Bob's funeral service on Saturday, February 19, at 4pm at R.M Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S Main Street, Rochester, NH. Visitation will be prior to his service from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. For those who wish, Bob may be remembered through donations to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS).
