Robert P. Grovenstein

Rochester - Robert P. Grovenstein, 95, passed away Monday May 9, 2016 at the Dover Rehabilitation and Living Center following a period of failing health.   Born March 18, 1921 in Sanford, FL he was the son of the late Robert M. and Esther (Purdon) Grovenstein.   Mr. Grovenstein served in the US Navy during WWII. He later worked for many years as a Medical Technologist for Path Lab Inc.   He was an Emeritus Member of the Massachusetts Association of Medical Technologists, the NH Society of Protection of Forests, and the Sierra Club.   Members of his family include his three children Robert M. Grovenstein and wife Karen of Stoddard, NH; Mary Patch and husband Robert of Lebanon, ME; and Jane Crandall of Rochester, NH; his grandchildren Dennis, Joseph, Tammy, Kerry, Theresa, Bobby, Howard, and Tammy, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.   He was predeceased by his wife Margaret (Foley) Grovenstein in 1997.   Family and friends may visit Monday May 16, from 10 - 11AM at the R.M.
