Robert Watson Pettigrew

Rochester - Robert "Bob" W. Pettigrew, 66, of Rochester passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, March 24, 2012. An adored father, mentor, and friend, he was known for his infectious laugh, good-nature, and big heart. Bob was born to the late Charles S. and Etta (Butler) Pettigrew on January 17, 1946, in Lynn, MA. He graduated from Lynn English High School in 1963; soon after he enlisted in the US Navy where he proudly served in the Vietnam War. He received an associate's degree in accounting from New Hampshire College in 1990, and in 1991, started working for the University of New Hampshire. He had recently retired after serving for 11 years as a financial consultant for the Student Activity Fee Committee, a job he described as "the best on campus."
