ROCHESTER, N.H. - Robert Stuart, 78, passed away Wednesday at his home after an extended period of failing health.He was born June 29,1942 in Rochester, the son of the late George and Phyllis (Brown) Stuart, brother to the late Betty (Stuart) Elwell and Donald Stuart.
He was a lifelong resident of Rochester and worked for Davidson Rubber and Hudson News. After retiring he worked for Lampers Saw Sharpening. Robert enjoyed wood working, fishing, hunting, a good sugary snack, a big hug and his pets. Robert attended Grace Baptist Church religiously for several years where he served as a Trustee as well as the head of the Church Video Organization.He is survived by his wife, Glenita (Tuttle) Stuart of 59 years as well as his children, Scott Stuart and his wife Tara of Kittery, ME; Sean Stuart and his wife Jennifer of Hingham, MA and Candice Stuart of Rochester; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; as well as his beloved Cinnamon, Hector and Georgie.
