NEW DURHAM - Robert (Bob) Wengrzynek, Sr. 84, died at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 10, 2013. The son of the late Benjamin and Josephine Wengrzynek, he was born & raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey 1928 and raised his family in East Brunswick NJ before relocating to New Hampshire.. Robert served in the United States Navy during WWII then in the early 70's Bob became the 1st "Avon Man", to assist his wife Sherle. He was a full time lab technician with Rhodia Chemicals in New Jersey until his retirement with Sherle moving to Hampton, NH as the owners of Handy Dan's "Mom & Pop" store, in 1979. After retiring from Handy Dan's, Bob & Sherle retired to New Durham, NH in 1988. Next to the love of his family, his other passion was Rutger's University Sports. He was also well known for his sense of humor.
