Roger Wilkins

ROCHESTER - Roger Wilkins, 65, passed away Nov. 2, 2009 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.Born Nov. 14, 1943 in Norfolk, Va., he was the son of the late Ralph and Virginia (Wade) Wilkins.Mr. Wilkins graduated from Beverly High School, Class of 1961. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was later a custodian for Spaulding High School. He was a member of the American Legion Post 7. He loved photography, carpentry, dancing, and traveling.Members of his family include his wife, Eleanor (Ford) Wilkins of Rochester; five children, two brothers Alan and Dana Wilkins, both of Middleton, Mass.; three sisters, Paula Dito of Cleveland, N.C., Nancy Wilkins of Exeter, and Cheryl Floyd of Hellam, Pa.; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Gail A. Harris.Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service Monday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton, Mass.Arrangements are under the direction of the R. M.
