Ronald Murphy

STRAFFORD Ronald James Murphy, 55, of 8 Parshley Lane, died Friday, Aug. 14, 2009 at his home after a sudden illness.Born March 15, 1954 in Boston, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Bertha (Bowen) Murphy.Ronald has lived in Strafford for the past 20 years after moving from Mission Hill, where he grew up. While living in Mission Hill, he attended St. Francis De Sals High School and volunteered as an altar boy at his church for many years.Members of his family include his daughters, Candice B. Murphy of Strafford and Joanna C. Murphy of Rochester; his sons, Timothy R. Murphy, Ronald J. Murphy and Jordon T. Murphy all of Strafford; the mother of his children, Joan Ableman of Strafford; his grandchildren, Andrea Murphy and Jacquelin Murphy; a brother, Lawrence Murphy Jr.; his sisters, Donna Leary, Nancy Quigley, Susan Marchand, Patricia Comperchio, Jeanie Giglio and Kathleen Cellucci.Flowers are accepted, but donations maybe made in Ronald's memory to his children c/o Joanna Murphy 55 Pine St., Rochester...
