Rosemarie Sheehan Carroll

Portsmouth NH- Rosemarie Sheehan Carroll died Sunday July 3, 2011 peacefully at her home surrounded by family. She was born on January 27, 1926 in Brockton, MA to Frank Tevlin and Mary (O'Brien) she graduated from Brockton High School in 1943 and attended Brockton Business College before going to work for The New England Telephone Company as chief clerk. In 1950 she married Thomas F. Sheehan also of Brockton and raised a family of six children. In 1983 she married her husband Thomas F. Carroll after having retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Portsmouth. Their years together were extremely happy with residences in both NH and Florida. They travelled extensively both abroad and in the US, including many times to Ireland, the country of their ancestry. Their introduction to sailing was on their ketch, "The Toroca" which they sailed in the Florida waterways and to NH via the Intracoastal for several summers.
