Roxie Bumgardner

Gonic - Roxie Bumgardner, 92, passed away Monday September 3, 2012 at the Rosewood Manor where she had resided since November, 2010. Born July 25, 1920 in Huntingdon, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Clemens) Morningstar. Mrs. Bumgardner had spent her entire life in Huntingdon, PA until moving to Rochester to be near her family. Mrs. Bumgardner worked as a hostess for McDonald's in Huntingdon for many years. When she was able, Roxie loved to take walks in her neighborhood. Members of her family include her son Joseph Bumgardner and wife Patricia of Rochester, NH; her grandchildren Christopher Bumgardner and wife Deborah of Cartersville, GA; and Amy Knox and husband Danny Jr. of Rochester, NH; She is also survived by five great grandsons. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Bumgardner who passed away in 1997. She was also predeceased by two brothers Sheldon and Robert Morningstar, and three sisters Emily Smith, Sarah Rittenhouse, and Ann Atkins. Funeral services will be held in...
