Royal M. Edgerly Jr

Rochester- Royal M. Edgerly JR., 56, of 153 Highland Street passed away peacefully Saturday, August 25, 2012 at his home. Born May 4, 1956 in Rochester, NH., he was the son of the Royal M. Edgerly Sr. and Carol (Emro) Edgerly. Rolly was a life long resident of Rochester, NH. He attended Rochester schools and graduated from Spaulding High School class of 1974. He worked for over thirty years at Public Service of NH. He was very proud to be a Foreman in the Line Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He was a proud member of the NRA, Humane Lodge #21 F&M, and the Sons of the American Legion. He was a loving father and grandfather. He will forever be remembered in our hearts, as a kind and loving man to his children and to his grandchildren, who all called him "Bub" Members of his family include his children Royal M. Edgerly III and his wife Jennifer of East Rochester, Sara Edgerly of Rochester, Nicole Edgerly and her fiancé Dan Hurley of Milton, and Emily Edgerly of Rochester, mother of his children, Ellen Edgerly and her companion George Montanese of Rochester. his grandchildren Ahlyvia Parker, Savannah Edgerly-Hurley, Royal Edgerly IV, Thomas Edgerly, and Josh Tapley. his brothers, Scott Edgerly and his fiancé Lynda Hastings of Lebanon, ME, Linc Edgerly of Florida, and Morgan Edgerly and his wife Kim of Strafford. his step mother J.Susan Edgerly of Rochester. aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Adam Edgerly, and his long time companion Kristen Meiklejohn.
