Rufus C. Hartford

Rochester, NH- Rufus C. Hartford, 86, of Oak Street passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born March 30, 1935 in West Epping, NH the son of the late Rufus and Zeala Hartford. Rufus proudly serviced in the U.S. Air Force. Rufus worked as a machinist for Strafford Machine Shop. He enjoyed working on cars in his garage. His passions were Jesus, Family, church and friends. H was a Bible study leader Strafford County Corrections facility for many years He pastored a church in Epping for two years and then he was a lifelong member of True Memorial Baptist Church in Rochester, NH. Members of his family include his wife Shirley (King) Hartford; son, Richard Hartford; daughter, Marilyn Hartford; grandchildren, Tiffany, Rachel, Stephanie, Erin; great grandchildren, Adrian, Preston, Kaylee and Alexxus.
