Ruth Henderson

ROCHESTER - Ruth F. Henderson, 71, passed away on February 11, 2013 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. She was born in Everett Mass on August 9, 1941 to the late Walter & Lousie (Berry) McMahon. Ruth attended Everett High School and graduated in 1959. She was a member of the American Legion in Rochester, NH and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Dover, NH. Ruth was also a bartender at St. Jean's in Dover, NH for 18 years - Her home away from home. Ruth is survived by her four children, Shawn Henderson of Kennebunkport, ME, Robert Henderson and his wife Stacy of Rochester, Kevin Henderson and his wife Stacey of Strafford, and Patti Henderson of Farmington; three sisters, Claire McMahon of Dover, Rita Whelan of Malden, MA, Cathy Pagliarulo of Tewksbury, MA; two brothers, Steve McMahon of Stoneham, MA, Kevin McMahon and his wife Camille of Melrose, MA; five grandchildren, Ashley, Thomas, and Robert Henderson, Scott and Frank Staples; her sister-in-laws, Martha Henderson of Farmington, and Gladys Kilcullen and her husband Richard of Dover; and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her husband James; her brother John McMahon; four brother in laws, Joseph, Carl, George, Leon; her niece Melissa Magner; nephew Jeffery McMahon; and her special niece Erin McMahon. Ruth was loved by many and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Cancer Research, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 4-6pm at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867. A funeral service will be held following visitation A Mass of Christian Burial will be in the Spring.
