Ruth Hubbard

RochesterRuth M. Hubbard passed away peacefully on November 22, 2011 at Colonial Hill of Rochester after a period of failing health. She was born on November 5, 1929 in York, ME the daughter of John and Marion (Fernald) Grover. Ruth was a graduate of Eliot High School and MacIntosh Business School in Dover, NH. Ruth spent her life as a homemaker. She was a 34 year member of James Farrington-Pleiades Chapter #7, OES. She is the widow of George L. Hubbard, Sr. who passed away on January 27, 2005. She is survived by her daughter Wanda J. Hubbard, a son George L. Hubbard, Jr. and his wife Karyn, grandchildren, Andrew and Lindsay Hubbard all of Rochester, and her brother Bernard Grover of Kittery. She was predeceased by her 3 brothers Harold, Harlon and Carlton Grover. There will be no calling hours. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at 1:00 pm in New Cold Spring Cemetery in East Rochester. Arrangements are in the care of R. M. Edgerly Funeral Home 86 S.
