Ruth Taylor

Rochester- Ruth Taylor,92, formerly of Chestnut Hill Rd died Monday August 18, 2014 at the Rochester Manor. Ruth was born in Portsmouth NH on November 11, 1921, the daughter of John and Captola May (Pike) Babb. Ruth was a proud graduate student of Rochester High School. She met and married her husband Kenneth G. Taylor and made their home in Rochester NH. There they raised five children. Ruth worked in various mills and shoe factories. She loved to sew and cook for her family and most of all dance whenever she heard music. Ruth was an active mother who always supported her family. She was a member of the Red Raiders Mothers Club and Good Ole' Sports. She was pre-deceased by her mother and father, sisters June and Lorraine, husband Kenneth G. Taylor and eldest son John L. Taylor.
