Rochester NH-Ruth-ann Elizabeth Walsh,76, on Saturday January 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends through her faith in God was called to heaven into the loving arms of her late husband Arthur who began his heavenly journey in March of 2015   Born March 13, 1939 in Arlington Ma, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ruth (Grahm) Carter   Ruth has lived in Rochester for the past 54 years after moving from Cambridge Ma. She was a graduate of Mount Auburn where she ear Rochester NH-Ruth Elizabeth Walsh,76, passed away on Saturday January 23, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Through her faith in God was called to heaven into the loving arms of her late husband Arthur who began his heavenly journey in March of 2015.   Born March 13, 1939 in Arlington Ma, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ruth (Graham) Carter   Ruth has lived in Rochester for the past 54 years after moving from Cambridge Ma. She was a graduate of Somerville Hospital School of Nursing, where she earned a degree in nursing. While living in New Hampshire she worked as an RN at Frisbie Memorial Hospital, Director of nurses at Langdon Place of Dover and Exeter, Lilac City Pediatrics and the Rochester Manor, she retired in 2012. She was a parishioner of St Mary's Church where she played a very active role on the parish council, Catholic women's community for the Diocese of Manchester; she served on the Rochester School Board and was a member of the Marion Society, Friends of the Rochester Library, she also sponsored candidates for the RCIA Team, and enjoyed her Book Club with close friends.   Members of her family include her sons; Patrick Walsh and his wife Judith of Derry and Shaun Walsh and his wife Joann of Hudson Me, a daughter, Kellie Daigneault and her husband David of Rochester, a brother, Paul Carter and wife Linda of Arlington Ma, a grand daughter Kelbre Roberts of Rochester, and an aunt Hazel Proto Wilmington Ma.   She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Francis Bradley Walsh in 2015 and a son, Francis Joseph Walsh in 1962   In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Cocheco Valley Humane Society or to St. Mary's Church.   There are no calling hours A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday February 6 at 10am in the St Mary's Church in Rochester NH Burial will be in the New Cold Springs Cemetery in the Spring of 2016 Arrangements are under the care of the R.M.
