Sally Murphy

Sanbornville - Sally Ann Murphy, 73, of Flynn Rd, Sanbornville NH died November 5, 2017 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital as the result of a tragic accident.Born November 14, 1943 in Boston Massachusetts; she is the daughter of the late George and Sarah (Gillen) Murphy.Sally has lived in New Hampshire for the past 40 years. She worked as a medical technician at Boston City Hospital, Saints Memorial Hospital and Huggins Hospital. She was a member of the American Legion Post 7 in Rochester, the Red Hat Society, the Whiners, the Dance Hall Girls, the Teddy Bears, the Castle Island Society, and the South Boston Irish American Society.She loved to be outdoors: snowmobiling, riding on the boat, and especially riding her Spyder. Her favorite hobby was photography, but she liked to read, knit, embroider, and make birthday cards. She loved animals especially her dogs Auggie and Aldo.Sally is survived by her husband Al Cappi, her daughters; Dawna Marr and Cyndie Paradis (husband Bob), her step-children; Mark, John and Linda Cappi, her sisters; Mary Madden, Catherine, Eileen, Julia and Deborah Murphy, grandchildren; Joshua, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Alex, Tyler, Teagan, Noah, Olivia, Kayleigh, and Sage, great grandchildren; Carter and Brinley.In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the American Legion Post 7 in Rochester.Calling hours will be held Friday November 10th in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester NH 03867. Funeral services to be held at 4pm; followed by a gathering at the American Legion.
