Salvatore A Farina

Salvatore Farina-On February 28th, 2024, Salvatore Farina, of Dover, NH passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Edgewood Nursing Home in Portsmouth, NH. He was born in Boston, MA on January 11, 1926. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II and served as a Corpsman in the Philippines. Afterwards he attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and started his career as a pharmacist. During this time, he married Rose Marie Scalia, of Newton, MA. They subsequently had four sons; James, Michael, Joseph and Richard. In 1965, the family moved to Barrington, NH where he became the proprietor of Lightbody Drug in Rochester. He retired in 2011. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Berlandi, sisters in law Dolores Kane and Joanne Davis as well has his four sons and their families, including grand and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A wake will be held at the Edgerly Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St, Rochester, NH on Monday, March 4, 2024, between the hours of 5pm to 8pm. A Celebration of his...
