Sandra Sampson

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Sandra L (Freeman) Sampson. Sandra, 60, passed away at home on June 20, 2025. She was born in York, Me to Myron Freeman of York and Drusilla (Ely) and Frank Daniels of Kittery, Me. Sandra was a beloved wife, a dedicated mother, and the best grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend. She was cherished by all who knew her. She had a heart of gold, loved her glitter and her smile lit up any room, she made friends everywhere she went. She loved to help others, loved to cook, garden, made a wide variety of crafts that she would give to people to brighten their day, she loved to go on adventures with her daughter Kristen or text with her at all hours of the day and night, she loved to sing karaoke even if it was off key, and simply have a good time. Above all, she adored being a Grammie to Owen, Kamdyn and Olivia, and a smiling face to all her family and friends. Her passing leaves a void in many hearts, but we find comfort in knowing she will be with us forever, watching over us. She is now at peace with her brother Russell and her brother-in-law Ron and other loved ones. Sandra is survived by her husband Samual Sampson of Rochester, her daughter Kristen Freeman and Bryan Shedd of Rochester and her 3 children Owen, Kamdyn and Olivia. She also leaves behind her mother Drusilla Freeman-Daniels and Frank Daniels of Kittery, Me, her father Myron Freeman of York, Me, siblings Russell Freeman of Wells, Me (who preceded her to heaven), Mark and Leslie Freeman of York, Me, Terry Freeman-Pirini of York, Me, nephew (who was like a son) Jonathon and Savannah Freeman of York, Me, Joseph and Kate Freeman of Wells, Me and niece Jennifer and Brian Ehle of Eliot, Me.
