Gowen,80, died Sunday August 26, 2018 after a brief illness.Born May 30, 1938 in Newmarket NH she is the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Hartshorn) Record.Sara has lived in Rochester since 1963. She was a homemaker who loved and was very proud of her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing golf having been a past member of the Nippo Lake Golf Club in Barrington, she also enjoyed playing BINGO.Members of her family include her husband of 61 years, Paul Gowen of Rochester, her son, Thomas Gowen and his wife Sheila of Miramar FL, her daughters; Catherine Guilmette and her husband William, Cynthia Laplume and her husband Dana and Christine Wilkins and her husband Dennis all of Rochester, a sister, Beverly Burrows of Durham, 11 grandchildren; Matt, Andrea, Crystal, Josh, Doug, Justin, Jake, Whitley, Shayla, Corey, Chris and 2 great grandchildren, Maddyn and Madilyn many nieces and nephews and brother and sister in-laws.
