WOLFEBORO - Sarah White, 91, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at the Wolfeboro Bay Care and Rehabilitation Center following a period of failing health.Born Aug. 10, 1918, in New Campbellton, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Helen (Carey) Bain. Mrs. White was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, and her son's dog, Jake. Members of her family include her son, Bruce White of Wakefield; one nephew, Keith Bain of New Breton, Nova Scotia; and one sister-in-law, Ethel Bain, also of Cape Breton.She was predeceased by her husband, John White.Family and friends may visit Saturday, Oct. 17, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., Rochester.A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.Burial will take place in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Peabody, Mass., on Monday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Burchell United Church, c/o Margret Maclean, 2333 New...
