Scott L. Norton

Middleton - Scott L. Norton, 55, passed away Wednesday October 30, 2013 at his home following a period of failing health. Born April 13, 1958 in Acushnet, MA. he was the son of Harrison and Dorothy (Banville) Norton, Sr. Mr. Norton worked for many years as a Gate Operator Technician for GC AAA Fence Co. He was also the EMS Lieutenant for Farmington Fire/Rescue, he worked as an EMT for Middleton Fire and Speedway Services in Loudon, NH. Scott had a very special love for each of his 14 grandchildren. Members of his family include his wife Cheryl (King) Norton of Middleton, NH; his children Michael A. Towne and fiancé Karen Fortin of Concord, NH; Joshua Norton of CA; Carrie Ann Bourdon and wife Brenda of Hampton, NH; Jason Towne of Rochester, NH; Jessica Freitag and husband Tom of Carver, MA; and Leeanna Tibbetts and husband Larry of Rochester, NH; his father Harrison Norton, Sr. of Farmington, NH; his siblings Harrison Norton, Jr. and wife Leah of Middleboro, MA; Steven Norton of Farmington, NH; Deb Santos and husband Mark of Warner, NH; Donna Lash and husband Jeff of Fall River, MA; and Sandy Tavares and husband Ricardo of Fall River, MA; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Norton. A memorial service will be held Saturday November 9, at 11AM at the First Congregational Church, UCC of Farmington, located at 400 Main St. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at the Old Town Hall in Middleton, NH.
