Obituary

Shane Everett Bacon, 53, of Rochester, NH passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Shane was born and raised in Atkinson, NH where he attended Atkinson Academy before going on to graduate from Timberlane Regional High School. Growing up in Atkinson, he formed lifelong friendships and developed the strong sense of family and community that remained important to him throughout his life.

Shane was a devoted husband and a proud father who deeply loved spending time with his family. Some of his favorite moments were spent fishing with his boys and enjoying the outdoors together. He also found great joy in gardening, feeding and watching the birds, and working on his many snowblower projects and his Facebook Marketplace finds. Shane appreciated the simple things in life and the quiet moments they brought.

He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Clark-Bacon, and his three sons, Zachary, Nicholas, and Joshua. His Mother Laurie whom he adored and his sister, Cindy, and her daughters, Ava and Lily; and his brother, Greg, and his wife, Lorraine and his Grandmother Betsy Little. He is pre-deceased by his Father William Bacon.

Shane will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication to his family, and the many memories he created with those who loved him. He will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Atkinson Congregational Church, 101 Main Street, Atkinson on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Shane’s life.
