Dover NH-Sharon L. Roberts,70, of 107 Adelle Dr died on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital after a long illness.Born March 2, 1947 in Rochester NH she is the daughter of the late Elwin and Addie (Karcher) MacKay.Sharon has lived in Dover for the past 11 years after moving from Somersworth. She worked in housekeeping at Wentworth Douglass Hospital for a period of time. She was a member of 1st united Methodist Church in Rochester. Enjoyed knitting, reading the Bible, playing BINGO while at Colonial Hill and spending time with her loving family.Members of her family include her husband of 49 years, Dave Roberts of Dover NH, her daughter, Serena Smith and her husband Larry Smith of Gonic, her son, David C. Roberts of Dover, her stepdaughter, Patricia Gaudet of S. Carolina, her grandchildren; Keana and Amaya Roberts and Xavier Smith all of Gonic, her sisters; Julie Lanoix and Brother in law, Peter Lanoix of Rochester, Betty Burke and her partner, Eric Stevens of Barrington and Bonnie Favart of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister, Kathy Mackay and a brother, Daniel Mackay. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the 1st United Methodist Church in Rochester.
