Shirley Zalenski

Alton, NH - Shirley Zalenski, 83, passed away Sunday March 2, 2014 at her daughter's home in Acton, ME following a period of failing health. Born February 23, 1931 in Rochester, NH she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Dora (Lamper) Hooper. Mrs. Zalenski worked for many years as a Corrections Officer at the state prison in Concord. She enjoyed yard saling and caring for the elderly. Members of her family include her children William Coyne, Jr. of Barrington, NH; Kenneth Hussey III of Milton Mills, NH; Ted Hussey and wife Deborah Spencer Hussey of Alton, NH; James Hussey of Sanbornville, NH; and Joanne Moulton and husband Dwayne of Acton, ME; fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, two sisters Sylvia Dorr of Rochester, NH; and Carolyn Rosenfeld, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Zalenski, Sr. Family and friends may visit Friday March 7, 2014 from 11AM - 12PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 12PM. Burial will take place in the Lovell Lake Cemetery in Sanbornville in the spring.
