Stanley "Ray" Atkinson

Rochester - Stanley "Ray" Atkinson, 76, passed away Tuesday September 3, 2024, at his home following a brief illness. Born April 9, 1948, in Lynn, MA, he was the son of the late Stanley M. and Doris (Lawson) Atkinson. Ray had worked in quality control at Westinghouse for 43 years. From his teenage years till his last day, he loved restoring and riding vintage Honda motorcycles and working on small engines. He also enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled airplanes. It gave him great pleasure teaching his children and grandchildren how to ski, waterski, scuba dive, rebuild and ride motorcycles. He loved having coffee and conversations with friends and neighbors and giving treats to all of his 4-legged friends.
