Tilton, NH- Stanley Strout, 96, of Tilton passed away at the N.H. Veterans Home on May 11, 2015 where he has been a resident for six years. He was born June 6, 1918 in Brewer, ME., the son of Frank Strout and Flora (Storer) Strout. He was a WWII veteran, a corporal in the Army/Airforce. He retired from RCA Manufacturing Co. in Waltham, MA and moved to Northport, FL in 1982. He and his wife returned to Northfield in 1997. He loved to watch baseball and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. He loved playing golf and working on jigsaw puzzles with his friends and staff at the Veterans home. He was predeceased by his wife Amelia (Lyko) Strout, brothers, Irving Strout, Sr., Carrol Strout, Andrew Strout and sisters, Celia Young, Alicia Young, Thelma Constation, Eleanor Towle, and Nellie Massingham. He is survived by many several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Saturday May 16, 2015 at 11AM in the Rochester Cemetery, Franklin Street, Rochester, NH with Rev.
