Rochester - Stephanie Jean Foster, 24, passed away Monday October 15, 2012 at her home following a period of failing health. Born August 11, 1988 in Dover, NH she is the daughter of Stephen and Laurie (Sullivan) Foster. Stephanie was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Rochester. While in school she played the flute and clarinet, and also managed the basketball team for four years. She enjoyed dance, and volunteering at the Rochester Manor. Stephanie loved to play Rummy and was known as the "Rummy Queen". Stephanie had recently organized a fund raiser called A Rare Night where she raised money for the National Organization for Rare Diseases. Members of her family include her parents Stephen and Laurie Foster of Rochester, NH; her siblings Eric and Lauren Foster both of Rochester, NH; her paternal grandmother Patricia Foster and her special friend Gail Terra, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephanie's family would like to extend a special thank you to Solamor Hospice and the many healthcare professionals for their incredible compassion. Family and friends may call Wednesday October 17, 2012 from 5-8PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St. Rochester, NH 03867. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated on Thursday at 10AM at St. Mary Church in Rochester, with Fr. Daniel Sinibaldi pastor as celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Stephanie's memory to NORD, 55 Kenosia Ave. Danbury, Ct. 06810.
