Steven Benner

Steven "Red" W. Benner died, at the young age of 52, unexpectedly Monday, June 13, 2022. Steven is survived by his life partner of 34 years; Rebecca S. Scribner; his daughter, Niketa S. Swonger (Benner); his son, Tyler W. Benner; his son-in-law, Joshua Swonger; his grandson, Levi Swonger; his oldest brother, Scott Benner; his younger brother, Eric Benner; his younger sister Erika Benner and by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Ronald W. Benner; and his mother, Deborah L. Benner (Emmerich). Steven was born in Rochester, N.H. on August 17, 1969 to Ronald and Deborah Benner. He was a life-long resident of the Tri-City area where he worked as a chef and kitchen worker until he retired in 2004. Steven loved spending his free time watching science fiction movies, his favorite being the Star Wars series, and playing video games with his kids.
