Thelma White

Rochester - Thelma White, 92, passed away Saturday December 21, 2013 following a period of failing health. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Robert O. White. Born July 7, 1921 in Alton, NH she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Maude (Horne) Grenier. Thelma was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the Order Eastern Star, and a member of St. John's Anglican Church of Somersworth, NH. She enjoyed flower gardening and bird watching. Members of her family include her children John White of Farmington, NH; and Janet White of Cocoa, FL; her daughter-in-law Ellen White of Strafford, NH; four grandchildren Jonathan White, Ryan and Sean Fontaine, and Jennifer Blanchette and ten great grandchildren, one sister Marilyn O'Brien of Rochester, NH; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Bernard and Raymond Grenier, and Evelyn MacDougal. A memorial service will be held Thursday December 26, at 1PM in the chapel of the R.M.
