Thomasine "Tommi" Lenfest

Thomasine "Tommi" Lenfest of Rochester, NH, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday June 7, 2020, after a long and heroic battle with cancer. Thomasine "Tommi" Levesque was born on May 17, 1940 in Nashua, NH.  She attended Nashua High School and enjoyed being involved in many activities with her class. She studied teaching at Plymouth State College for several years. On December 2, 1961 she married recent UNH graduate and 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army, William F. "Bill" Lenfest. She followed him to Germany where they had two children, returning to that States in 1965. Except for the 2 years that Bill was away serving in Vietnam and Thailand, Tommi and Bill spent the rest of Bill's military career raising their children together on military bases around the country. Tommi enjoyed it greatly. The couple moved to Rochester in 1980. A hard worker and true people person, Tommi worked for the City of Rochester in the Tax Collector's office for many years.
