Rochester, NH- Timothy E. "Freebird" Berube, 53, of 2 Sweetbriar Lane died Monday Jan. 18, 2016 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a period of failing health. He was born in Rochester on Aug. 2, 1962, the son of Terri Geer and his adoptive father Joseph Berube and his mother Mary (Stark) Chapman. Tim has resided in Rochester since 2009 previously living in Barrington, NH. He was a Native American who enjoyed painting, camping, fishing, cutting trees, and music. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Tim was a member of the American Legion Post # 7 of Rochester, NH. Members of his family include his wife of 11 years, Catherine (Anderson) Ballou of Rochester; sons, Timothy, Jr. and Michael both of N. Berwick, ME. , Cody Carpenter of Rochester ,two grandchildren, Caleigh and Declan; mother, Mary Chapman of FL.; brothers, Chucky Geer, Barrington, Greg Geer, Freedom, NH; sister, Brenda "Dreamer" Berube, FL.; half sister, Kimberly Bodge, Barrington, sister-in-law and her husband Debbie and Larry Sommers, Redding, CA.; step mother, "Chili" Geer, Barrington, NH and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Terri Geer and brother, Ronald Geer. A Celebration will be held Sunday Jan. 31, 2016 from 2-7PM at the American Legion Post # 7, Eastern Ave., Rochester, NH.
