Valerie A. Hobbs

Valerie A. Hobbs (Abrotsky) 67 of Rochester, NH, wife of Cornelius Hobbs Jr, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones, after a long battle with declining health. Val was born in Brighton MA, the eldest daughter to Edward and Mary Abrotsky. Her family moved to Rye, NH where she eventually met her husband, Cornelius, where together they raised a family in Portsmouth and settled in Rochester, NH. Val enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family and beloved dogs (Halley and Diesel). Val found much happiness with her sons pranks and jokes. Her laughter filled them with joy. Val will always be remembered for her infectious smile and sense of humor. In addition to her husband, she was survived by her sons Michael Roy, Jason Roy and Cornelius Hobbs III; her father Edward Abrotsky; her sisters Karen Downes, Cindy Esquival, Gina Talon and Wendy Beauregard; 4 beloved grandchildren Jason Roy, Julia Roy, Justin Roy and Beverly Roy; many nieces and nephews along with her extended...
