Verna Cox, 97, died 4/9/2025 at her home following a period of declining health. She was born in Sandown, NH Oct. 18, 1927, the daughter of Maurice and Thirza (Bruce) Hathaway.
She had been employed as a floral designer with Parker’s Greenhouse and Florist and later Buds and Blooms.
She was a former member of the Rebekahs, she enjoyed time with family, sewing, knitting, and square dancing.
She was the widow of Karldon E. McCr0illis and Richard Cox.
Predeceased by brother Dean and Russell Hathaway and sister Barbara Hathaway Thomas.
Survivors include son Karldon B. McCrillis and wife Rose, daughter Elva Lovejoy and her husband George, 5 grandchildren Sean McCrillis, Jennifer Leef, Carrie McCrillis, Calvin McCrillis and Michael McCrillis. Many great-grandchildren.
