Verna Garland

Lebanon, ME - Verna Lee Garland, 69, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 21, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Verna was born on March 21, 1944 in Porter, ME, to the late Roland and Arlene Day. Verna was a wonderful person inside and out. She loved her family more than anything and she showed it every day. She always sat at her kitchen table and had the kindest things to say or just listen to you and had a way of making you feel that everything was going to be okay. Verna's smile was so beautiful and her heart was so big. Her faith was strong and she believed everything happens for a reason. She lived with pain every day, but never questioned "why me?" She was the strongest person you ever wanted to know. Even through all her pain, she would still give you a smile and say how much she loved you.
