Veronica Grant

Farmington - Veronica (Chaplin) Grant, 64 of 65 Labrador Road, Farmington, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012, at home, after a very courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born October 28, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Margaret (Leonard) Chaplin. She was raised in Gonic and graduated from Spaulding High School in Rochester, Class of 1965. During High School, she met the love of her life, Wayne Austin Grant, and they were married on July 29, 1967. Vickie worked for several years at the dental office of Dr. Raymond Laurion. After the birth of her three sons, she became a stay-at-home Mom. She later was employed at Davidson Rubber Textron in Dover. She then furthered her education and became a daycare provider to be followed by employment as a paraprofessional in the Rochester School System.
