Veronica Ann Parker

ROCHESTER, NH - Veronica "Vicky" Ann Parker, 57, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at her home.Vicky was born March 20, 1962, in Portsmouth, NH, and grew up on Winchester Street in that city.  She graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1980 and attended Plymouth State College before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Franklin Pierce College in 1986.Vicky worked for many years as an accountant at Shaw's Supermarkets in Dover, then at Robbins Auto Parts in Rochester.  For the last several years, she was employed at Complete Labor and Staffing in Londonderry.Vicky enjoyed reading, crocheting, her garden, and watching for hummingbirds.  She looked forward to family trips to Story Land and to her parents' camp in Hiram, Maine.  Watching shows "Jeopardy!" and "Stories from the Stage," brought her joy, as did listening to the humor of comedian Jeff Foxworthy and the music of Elton John, The Electric Light Orchestra, and Neil Diamond. Vicky is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jason Parker of Rochester; son Christopher Parker and wife Andrea of Alton; daughter Sarah Belanger and  husband JR of Bow; daughter Jennifer Leavitt and husband Brandon of Milton; daughter Meghan Leach and husband Nick of Lebanon, Maine; and nine grandchildren.She is also survived by her parents, Louise and Walter Novak of Portsmouth; brother Greg and wife Sue of Chatham, NJ; brother Matthew and wife Lorena of Groton, Mass.; sister Cathy and husband Bruce of Londonderry; and extended family including in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and family may visit Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St, Rochester, NH, 03867.
