Virginia Douglas

Wolfeboro, NH- Virginia Douglas, 86, formerly of 40 Little Falls Bridge Road and longtime resident of Clearwater, FL. died Sunday July 9, 2017 at Wolfeboro Bay Center. She was born March 24, 1931 in Rochester, NH the daughter of the late Charles and Valaura (Desmarais) Cate. She worked as a private duty nurse in Florida and Massachusetts. Virginia loved cooking big home cooked meals for family on Sundays. She enjoyed knitting, embroidery and playing darts with friends. Members of her family include children, Cynthia Douglas, Brooksville, FL., Richard L. Douglas, Rochester, NH, Michael and wife Lynn Douglas, Port Richey, FL., Scott and wife Dianna Douglas, Wolfeboro, NH, Wendy Douglas, Derry, NH; 18 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. Virginia was predeceased by children, Linda Douglas, Robert Reidy and James Douglas. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and please check with the family.
