Vivian Dumais

Strafford, NH- Vivian R. Dumais, 57, of 357 Barn Door Gap Road died Tuesday Feb. 25, 2014 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a period of failing health. She was born Aug. 19, 1956 in Boston, MA, the daughter of Mark McGrath of Greensboro, VT and the late Harriett (Ambury) McGrath. Vivian has resided in Strafford for the past 15 years previously living in Barnstead and New Durham, NH. She worked as a teachers' aide in several local schools. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, swimming and animals. Vivian especially loved spending time with her family which was her dearest priority and taking long walks in the woods with her husband Gary. Members of her family include her husband of 32 years, Gary Allan Dumais of Strafford; sons, Jesse and wife Kelly Dumais of Kittery, ME., Casey and wife Lauren Dumais of Nashua, NH; her father of VT. half sister, Meagan McGrath of Burlington, VT. and one granddaughter on the way.
