Barrington- Wallace (Chick) Fournier, 72, of 191 Greenhill Road died unexpectedly August 6, 2012 at his home. Born July 29, 1940 in Rochester, NH. He was the son of the late Wallace V. and Lucia (Dube) Fournier. A veteran of the U. S. Navy and a UNH Mechanical Engineering Department retiree. He was a longstanding member of Le Club Victoire, Legion Post 7 and B.P.O.E. Members of his family include his wife of 49 years Louise M. (Snow) Fournier of Barrington. His children Whitey Fournier and wife Andrea of Topsham, ME, Jayne Young and husband Randy of Strafford, and Paul Fournier of Alton. His grandchildren; Michael Fournier, Joseph Fournier, and Nicholas Fournier all of Topsham, ME, Tyler Fournier of Milton NH, Shannon Burke of Strafford NH, six step grandchildren, his sister-in-law Wanda Fournier of Barrington NH and his loyal dog Rusty. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charles Fournier. He was an inspiration and positive influence on countless lives. He loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and working in his vegetable garden. He lived his live with honor and integrity. He was the center of a loving family, a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He died where he was happiest, at the home he built for his family "Ever remembered, forever loved" Family and friends are invited to visit with the family Monday, August 13, 2012 from 12 PM to 2 PM at the R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main Street, Rochester, NH 03867 A funeral service will follow at 2 PM with Fr. Dan Sinabaldi. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Gonic, NH Donations in his memory may be made to the food pantry at the Public Safety Building on Rt 9, Barrington, NH.
