Wendy Dore

Rochester- Wendy Dore, 69, passed away on Monday, May 12th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born June 27, 1955, in Lewiston, Maine, Wendy was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Greenleaf Sr. and Madeline (Cash) Greenleaf. A passionate learner, Wendy earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her compassion and dedication to others guided her professional path, most notably through her work as a Direct Support Professional House Manager at Woodfords Family Services in Westbrook, Maine. Wendy also spent over 20 years working at her parent’s restaurant, the Gateway Family Restaurant in Lee and Somersworth, NH. Wendy found joy in life’s simple pleasures—cheering on her favorite sports teams, soaking in the serenity of the beach, and exploring the rich culture of the Indian reservation in Toas, New Mexico where she did her student teaching.
