Wilfred Caplette

Rochester NH- Wilfred J. "Fritzie" Caplette , 87, of 214 Old Dover Road died Sunday April 20, 2014 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth after a brief period failing health. Born Dec. 1, 1926 in Gonic, NH he was the son of the late Oliver J. and Delvina (Lacriox) Caplette Roulx. He was a lifelong resident of Rochester and was a self employed carpenter. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Fritzie was a member of the Club Victoire and a longtime member of the Rochester Country Club. He was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing, boating, hunting, playing pool and bowling. Golfing was his passion having won a club championship and a runner up in the State AM. A great accomplishment of his was skiing with his grandchildren at the age of 80. His motto was to work hard and play hard.
