William Francis Carlin

Rochester - William F. Carlin, 86, passed away Thursday February 4, 2010 at his home following a period of failing health. Born August 23, 1923 in New Britain, Ct he was the son of the late James and Anna (Wile) Carlin. Mr. Carlin served in the US Army during WWII. He later worked as an IT Manager for Davidson Textron Inc. for many years. Mr. Carlin enjoyed wood working, especially making doll houses. Members of his family include his children Beth Jimenez and her husband Manny of Tucson, AZ; Daniel Carlin and his wife Pam of Eagan, MN; and Brian Carlin and his wife Janet of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren Lindsay, Matthew, Michelle, Kaleigh, Cole, and Michael. Three step grandchildren Laurie, Joey, and Melissa, two sisters Eileen Rund of New Britain, CT; and Margaret Burkarth of Berlin, CT; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Jeanne (Kendrick) Carlin in 2009. Family and friends may visit Sunday February 7, 2010 from 1 - 3 PM at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home, 86 S. Main St....
