William Charles Hennelly

Lebanon, Maine- William "Billy" Charles Hennelly, 50, of 194 Hubbard Road died Wednesday March 17, 2010 at his home. He was born Oct. 6, 1959 in Rochester NH the son of the late William "Buddy" and Madeleine (Levesque) Hennelly. A lifelong resident of this area, Billy was a graduate of Somersworth High School Class of 1977. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga where he was deployed in the Mediterranean. Billy worked at Prime Tanning for many years and most recently worked for the past 10 years at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a boiler operator. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church of Somersworth, NH and a member of the American Legion Post# 69 of Somersworth, NH. Billy's hobbies included hunting, fishing, waterskiing, and four wheeling. He especially loved spending his summers at the family cottage in Milton Three Ponds, but he most loved his three children, to whom he shared, and taught, his love for the great outdoors.
