William Charlie Moses - MSGT USAF Retired September 1984, Of Rochester, NH, died August 9, 2026, Born on July 6, 1943 in Waltham, Massachusetts, the oldest of 13 children of Charles and Dorothy (Learned) Moses. He is survived by his devoted wife Diane (Maras). They recently celebrated 59 years of marriage. Also, survived by his cherished daughters, Melissa and her husband Craig Perkins of New Durham, NH, and Stephanie Moses of Lee, NH.

Loving Grandchildren, Abigail and her husband Bryan Gagnon, Nathan Perkins and his wife Kaitlin, Garrett Perkins and his wife Hailey, Alaina Perkins, Allison and Kristen Ross, Shannon Elizabeth, great grandchildren, Paisley, Bailey, Arrington, and Oakley Perkins As well as, sister Pearl Baika, brothers Charles, Raymond, Calvin and Edward Moses, Aunt Dianne Wuori, Uncle Henry Moses, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He served our country as a SP/4 U.S. Army Veteran - Hanau, Germany 1961-63.

He served in the U.S. Air Force in Cape Cod, MA 1967-68, Torrejon, Spain 1968-71, Denver, CO 1971, Omaha, NE 1971-72, Hickam, HI 1973-77, Goldsboro, NC 1977-1979, Hickam, HI 1979-82, San Antonio, TX 1982-84, retired 1984.

He enjoyed traveling in the military. In his retirement years, he enjoyed more travels throughout Europe, Israel, Alaska and Ireland.

He loved spending time with family and went on many family camping trips and trips to Boston to watch the Red Sox’s games. Every year since 1985 he hosted an event we called, Billy’s Backyard Barbecue where a horseshoe tournament was played. A winners trophy and a chump trophy for the losers became the tradition. In the later years, we switched to cornhole which was a game he enjoyed playing with family. Every year he hosted a Super Bowl get together, as he was a fan of the Patriots.

He was a quiet steady presence, and he will be missed by his loved ones.

Visiting hour will be 10-11am at True Memorial Baptist Church, 21 Ten Rod Road, Rochester, NH on August 17, 2026. Service at 11:00, followed by a light luncheon in the downstairs hall at 11:30. Military burial to follow, 1:30 at the Rochester Cemetery, 17 Franklin Street.
