William "Bill" Stanley

William (Bill) Stanley, beloved husband, father, Papa, and friend passed away surrounded by his family on March 10th, 2024 at the age of 62. He leaves a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and community. Born on October 20th, 1961, in Savannah, GA, Bill grew up in a loving home with his parents, Carl and Betty Ann (Miller) Stanley. Bill fell in love with his wife and best friend, Debra, at a young age. Together they built a legacy that continues on with their beautiful family: son Eric Stanley and wife Clara, daughter Elizabeth (Stanley) Raynor and husband Andrew, and daughter Alison (Stanley) Newell and husband Timothy. His greatest treasures were his grandchildren: Ben, AJ, and Anna Stanley, Ayla and Kalea Raynor, and Leland and Lenora Newell. He was deeply loved by his extended family, in particular his in-laws Roland and Muriel Baxter and Robert and Joanne Brooks.
